Recently, I’ve been reading a lot of great beauty blogs in the hopes of getting back into writing about make-up. My favourite posts are always about regretted purchases since I find those the most useful when I’m considering whether or not to buy a product, and there’s nowt better than reading a good rant! Lush Oxford Street Haul

I was lucky enough to visit London with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago, and there was only one attraction on my mind during the whole two hour train journey from Manchester. The London Eye? Nope. Big Ben? Not even close.

The world’s biggest Lush store? Hell yes!

Lush Oxford Street is, quite simply put, the Holy Grail for cruelty-free beauty addicts. To wander around a shop and know that you can pick out absolutely anything you like and buy it straight away, without having to search online for a cruelty-free declaration or a vegetarian/vegan ingredients list, is one of the best feelings in the world. I get excited enough in normal sized Lush stores, but it’s fair to say that the Lush on Oxford Street, the biggest Lush shop in the entire world, made me lose my mind entirely. I was more than prepared to completely drain my bank account and buy every single one of the 200-odd products exclusive to Oxford Street, but I was actually pretty restrained with my purchases.

It’s festival season! If you’re heading to Download this weekend or to another festival later in the summer, chances are you’re not planning to shower whilst you’re there.
