So, I’m ill. And it sucks, big time. I’ve also managed to pass my illness onto my boyfriend, so I have him to look after as well as myself – he doesn’t cope too well when he’s sick. So, New Year’s resolutions, are you sticking with yours?
I had two resolutions this year and I’ve already managed to break them both. The first was to curb my spending, especially on clothes. Two big ASOS orders in the last two weeks and a couple of new septum rings probably means that I can’t claim success on this one, right? The second was to do Couch to 5K, but I will get into it properly once I’m back at university for my second semester, learning to run isn’t the best idea during the exam period!
Today, however, I wanted to talk about weight loss, one of the most popular resolutions. I started my healthier lifestyle in July 2014, after realising how shockingly overweight I was, amongst other things. I’ve never looked back, and whenever I think about how much weight I’ve lost I feel extremely proud of myself. I’m not at my target BMI yet but after six months I thought it was a good time to reflect on my new healthy lifestyle.
