Review: Vistaprint Business Cards

After eight months of posting on Poppy alla Norma, I finally feel like a legit blogger, and it’s all thanks to my new blog business cards! They’re pretty, professional and very well printed, and I have to say that I’m incredibly impressed with the service I received from Vistaprint. I can’t wait to give them out!

Recently, I have been telling more and more people about my blog and have been wishing that I had some kind of way to share my URL in person. After doing plenty of research into blogging business cards, I decided to take the plunge after the woman running a charity project I’m volunteering for (stay tuned for a post about it soon!) offered to promote my blog when she is selling headbands made using my pattern.

I designed my business cards myself using good ol’ Paint.NET. It took a fair while to get the design looking just right, but I was extremely happy with the final result. I wanted the front to look sleek, minimalist and professional, but I absolutely couldn’t resist filling the back with a fun slogan and lots of colour – it makes me smile every time I look at it!

Although there are many different online printing companies to choose from when creating business cards, I decided to go with Vistaprint because of the affordability they offer, the relatively low minimum quantity and my previous good experiences with them. I was not at all disappointed; for just over £15 (including delivery and VAT) I received 100 business cards, printed in full colour on the front and the back, and a metal business card holder.

Vistaprint offer multiple different printing options on different types of cardstock, but I opted for the basic cards and they are excellent quality. The printing is sharp and the card is of decent weight. I paid for the basic shipping and my cards took just over two weeks to arrive, which I was pretty pleased with. If you’re desperate to get your cards sooner, you can pay for quicker shipping options, but these were a little too expensive for me.

If you are thinking of investing in business cards for your blog then I can highly recommend Vistaprint. If you scour some voucher code websites before buying you’ll definitely be able to find a discount code of some kind, making these already affordable cards even cheaper. The quality is absolutely impeccable for the price, and I couldn’t be happier with my cards
