Even though it’s supposed to be the middle of summer here in the UK at the moment, the weather still seems a little chilly. Brits need a wardrobe full of diverse clothing options to be prepared for any kind of weather at any time of year, and a perfect accessory to help prepare for our changeable weather conditions is a light, floaty scarf. I spotted this beauty in H&M a few weeks ago and decided it was the perfect scarf for our varied summer conditions.
This scarf is light enough that you won’t drown in a puddle of your own sweat if the heat suddenly returns, but substantial enough to, you know, actually do its job and keep you warm on a cold day. I can tell it’ll be a wonderful transition piece and I’m looking forward to pairing it with more autumnal colours later in the year.
The design is unusual and absolutely gorgeous. I’ve always been a sucker for anything astrology-related, so this constellation-slash-zodiac print really appealed to me when I found it in H&M. Being black and white, the scarf is really versatile and has slotted into my wardrobe really well; it looks just as lovely with a boring ol’ t-shirt & jeans as it does with an LBD.
Do you guys like seeing outtake photos? As far as I’m concerned, I couldn’t not include these pictures! My personal favourite is my murderous glare on the right… you really don’t want to get on the wrong side of me, *insert evil laugh*. I struggled with figuring out how to pose for these photographs to be completely honest, it’s fair to say that I won’t be getting a call from Vogue any time soon!
If you’re desperate to get your hands on this H&M scarf, you can find it here for the astoundingly bargainous price of just £4.99. I’m actually pretty tempted to pick up the light beige colourway with moon phases printed on it too, they’re both such lovely designs.
