A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by the kind people at Karma Se7en and asked if I would like to review a selection of their jewellery. Always delighted to try something new and shiny in my septum piercing, I selected two clickers from their extensive range.
The first thing to notice about Karma Se7en jewellery is the packaging. It’s gorgeous! Perfect for giving as a gift to the piercing addict in your life. The jewellery is housed in a small jar, similar to those used by indie eyeshadow companies, which is presented in a sturdy purple box. This instantly makes the jewellery feel luxurious and worth so much more than its small price tag.
The first septum clicker I ordered was the Triple Ball Clicker Segment Ring. This is the type of jewellery I tend to go for, a little bit different but still elegant and refined. Clickers can sometimes be a little stiff or difficult to open up when they’re in your nose, but this one is perfect – it doesn’t feel loose enough to fall out when it’s in, but you don’t need to reach for the pliers to open it back up. I really like this ring, and it actually reminds me of the beautiful pieces of Pata Pata Jewelry, but for a fraction of the price! The 8mm diameter fits snugly against my septum, although if you have an exceptionally high piercing or prefer the look of bigger jewellery, it is also available with a 10mm diameter. After extended periods of wear and showers I haven’t seen any discolouration, and I can definitely see this ring making it into my regular rotation of septum jewellery.
The second ring I chose was a bit different to my usual septum jewellery, the Jewelled Clicker Segment Ring. I generally tend to avoid sparkly septum jewellery because of the risk of the gems falling out, and because I’m not a fan of glittery items for every day wear. However, when I saw how dainty and small the crystals were in comparison to the rest of the ring, I decided to give it a shot. Once again, I was impressed with the quality of the ring – secure, yet easy to open. The gems aren’t the sparkliest in the world, but for the price you can’t expect Swarovski-level shimmer! This piece sits very nicely in my nose, and despite the sparkle the piece doesn’t overwhelm my face like gemmed clickers usually do.
The prices of Karma Se7en are reasonable anyway, but the buy one get one free offer on everything makes the jewellery incredible value for money when you consider the quality you’re getting. I would absolutely recommend Karma Se7en to anyone looking for unusual body jewellery for a good price. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
Note: This is the first review I have done in which the products featured were given to me for free. Rest assured, however, that all words and opinions are my own – receiving free gifts will never be more important to me than telling my readers the truth! I would never accept freebies from a company that I believe does not fit in with my blog content, or would force me to compromise my values.
I hope you enjoyed my review – if you did, be sure to follow Poppy alla Norma on Bloglovin’ so you never miss a post!
Until next time,
